Shade Sails
Shade sails are a great way of adding shade and value to your home. They are a practical solution for shading Pools, Playgrounds, Driveways and BBQ areas. Shade sails are a cost effective solution that can span distances traditional building methods can't (without major structural beams) and don't require gutters or plumbing. They can cover odd shaped areas and go around obstacles that would give builders a headache.
Shade sails can be attached to buildings, freestanding or a combination of both. We offer various attachment options including roof mountings, wall and corner plates, fascia mounts, sail track and freestanding posts which can be powdercoated or galvanised. Our fittings are made from high quality stainless steel, galvanised and aluminium products.
Engineering is important in the construction of a shade sail as the load on each point can transfer into tonnes of pressure. At All Shade Services we engineer the design of your sail to comply with the conditions of your area under 'AS 4055 – 2012 Wind loads for housing' (Standards Australia, 2013). We recommend that you ensure the company you use to install your sail is licensed with the QBCC (Queensland Building and Construction Commission) http://www.qbcc.qld.gov.au/Pages/default.aspx> Companies or installers that are not licensed do not have the qualifications to install shade sails and you may therefore be getting an inferior product.
If its sun protection you need we have you covered with a variety of fabrics and colours to choose from. Our sails have Double folded interlocked seams and double folded Edge Pockets (no raw edges), double stitching to all seams and edge pockets, reinforced corner gussets with extra webbing straps, PTFE UV stablized thread, Stainless steel corner rings supported by webbing straps, Stainless steel cable and corner fittings.
If you are looking for protection from the rain we offer 100% waterproof PVC membranes which are fully welded using High Frequency welders to ensure the strongest bond and strength for a tensioned product with corner disc plates and stainless steel perimeter cable. All sails are custom made to fit the area and are attached to mounting points with stainless steel fittings.
